Hayward OmniLogic is a pool and spa automation platform. Before choosing a system, match the proposed controller and accessories to the exact equipment at your pool. Product names alone do not establish compatibility.
What can automation control?
Hayward’s Omni configuration guide describes different controller families and expansion options. Supported pumps, heaters, lights and other functions depend on the panel, accessories and installation. Ask for a written list of the functions included in your quote.
Check regional and model differences
The older video below presents an Australian-market OmniLogic system. Treat it as historical background. It does not establish current U.S. model availability, electrical requirements or included features.
Questions to ask before an upgrade
- Which controller model and accessories are proposed?
- Which existing equipment will communicate with it, and which functions will be available?
- What network connection and account setup are required?
- What remains available locally if internet access is interrupted?
- What installation, configuration and owner training are included?
Plan for support and future changes
Do not assume software updates make every future hardware upgrade unnecessary. Confirm current support, replacement-part options and compatibility with the manufacturer or installer. Keep the model information and manuals with your pool records.
Installation and electrical work should follow the applicable manufacturer instructions and be performed by appropriately qualified professionals.
